When you upgrade from a shorter cycle (e.g. Monthly → Annually or Annually → Biennially), you get two big benefits:
- Lower monthly cost – The longer you commit, the more you save per month.
- Full-term extension – Your service is extended by the entire new cycle starting from your current expiry date (you never lose the time you’ve already paid for).
Example
- Current plan: Monthly at $15.00/mo
- Current expiry: November 30, 2026
- You upgrade to Biennially ($240 every 2 years = $10.00/mo)
Result after payment:
- New price: $10.00 per month
- New expiry: November 30, 2028 (full 24 months added)
- You saved $120 over the next two years
How to Upgrade Your Billing Cycle
- Log in to your Client Area
- Go to Services → My Services
- Click on the active service you want to upgrade
- Scroll down to the “Upgrade Billing Cycle” section
- Choose your new longer billing cycle from the dropdown
- Review the preview (shows exact new expiry date and total amount)
- Click Create Invoice
- Complete payment on the invoice
That’s it! As soon as the invoice is paid, your billing cycle and expiry date are updated automatically.
Important Notes
- You can only upgrade to a longer cycle (e.g. Monthly → Annually is allowed, but Annually → Monthly is not)
- You can upgrade multiple times – each time you get the full new term added from your current expiry
- The upgrade option is hidden on suspended, terminated, or cancelled services
- A pending upgrade invoice will temporarily replace the upgrade form until paid
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I lose the remaining time on my current cycle? A: No! The new cycle is added on top of your current expiry date.
Q: Can I downgrade later? A: Downgrades are not available through this tool. Contact support if you need to change to a shorter cycle.
Q: What happens if I don’t pay the upgrade invoice? A: Nothing changes – your service continues on the existing cycle and expiry date.
