How to Add DNS Management to Your Existing Domain (Step-by-Step)
- Log in to your client area at https://my.monstermegs.com
- Click Domains → My Domains in the left menu.
- Find the domain you want to manage and click the Manage button.
- On the right sidebar, click Addons.
- You will see a list of available addons:
- DNS Host Record Management
- Email Forwarding
- ID Protection, etc.
- Check the box next to DNS Host Record Management.
- Click the green Checkout or Continue button.
- On the checkout page you will see the total is $0.00 (or the price you were quoted). Choose your payment method (it will still say $0) and click **Complete Order.
- You will be taken back to the domain management page. A new link called DNS Management will now appear in the right sidebar.
- Click DNS Management – you can now add, edit, or delete any DNS records.
After Activation – What to Start Using Our Nameservers
- Inside Manage DNS, click the Nameservers tab (or button).
- Select Use custom nameservers and enter:
dns1.monsterdns.net
dns2.monsterdns.net
dns3.monsterdns.net - Click Change Nameservers.
It usually takes 5–30 minutes for the new nameservers to start working, and up to 24–48 hours to fully propagate worldwide.

Q: How long does it take for DNS Management to become active? A: Instantly after you complete the (free) order.
Q: Will this affect my website or email? A: Only if you change or delete existing DNS records. As long as you keep the current A/MX records, everything continues working exactly the same.
